The 16th International Annual Workshop on Tribology in Automotive and Engine Industry, successfully concluded in Shanghai on October 19, 2025. Universal Analytical Technology (UAT) made a remarkable appearance as a conference sponsor, engaging in in-depth exchanges with industry experts and scholars while showcasing testing solutions from its internationally leading brands: Tannas & King, PCS Instruments , and FALEX.
The conference was co-organized by Donghua University and the Tribology Division of the Shanghai Society of Mechanical Engineering, the symposium aimed to establish a high-level international academic exchange platform addressing issues of friction, lubrication, and wear in the automotive and engine sectors. The event brought together experts and scholars from prestigious universities, research institutions, and leading corporations worldwide to discuss cutting-edge scientific advancements, key technological breakthroughs, and future development trends in tribology.

At our booth, we prominently featured the Tannas TanEV CDT Conductive Deposit Test (designed to evaluate the propensity of electric vehicle transmission fluids to form conductive deposits under high temperatures) and presented a PCS poster titled "Characterising the Effect of Applied Voltage on Component Wear: A Tribological Case Study Using the PCS MTM-EC." We also introduced solutions such as lubricant evaluation and friction/wear testing to attending guests. These offerings provide powerful tools for addressing industry R&D challenges, attracting numerous participants who stopped by for in-depth discussions. This participation successfully reinforced UAT’s professional image in the field of tribological analysis. Moving forward, Universal Analytical Technology remains committed to introducing global top-tier technologies to support the sustainable development of China's automotive industry and high-end manufacturing sector.
